The primary aim of Ark Inc. is the promotion and progression of the values we share as members of the Ark movement. However, in addition to our investment programme [link], we offer a number of products and services to help ease your transition to the post-Crash [terminology?] world.

It is our sincere hope that such ideas will inspire other members of the growing Ark movement to share information and to generate new ideas and products to facilitate our readiness for global change.

ARKNET

ARKNET is an encrypted global communications network based on packet radio protocol. It supports two types of communication:
1.    Live ASCII messaging, similar to Internet Relay Chat systems, which allows instant and direct communication between members of the ARK movement
2.    The facility to leave messages for other users, accessible when they log onto the system

ARKNET can be accessed via the following two ARK products:

ARK DRIVE

This high-capacity USB 2.0 Flash drive allows plenty of room for data storage and contains ARK OS, an integrated operating system based on the open-source Linux protocol. Plugged into any computer with a USB 2.0 port, ARK OS runs without the installation of any software.
ARK RADIO [spelling/capitalisation?]
This product can act as a conventional radio, but is also able to link wirelessly to any nearby ARK DRIVE in order to stream data to and from ARKNET.

The Paradigm Index

The Paradigm Index (P-Index) uses a series of automated algorithms to collect relevant data on the ‘state of the world’, e.g. oil prices, global population, mean pollutant levels, important events, etc. This is presented in the form of graphed data through ARK OS, and broadcast hourly via ARK RADIO so members of the movement are able to stay up to date on all the latest developments.

Field Manuals

At ARK Inc. we believe that your wellbeing and resilience do not correlate directly with your material circumstances. We offer a number of publications, such as ‘Learning to Love the Crash: Staying Positive in the Face of Adversity’ (Ark Inc. Publications, 2006) which attempt to facilitate psychological and practical pre-adjustment – with support and practical training for the post–Crash [terminology?] world.

Disaster Tourism

By adapting to forthcoming events in the present it is possible to embrace radical change with minimal disruption to one’s life.

ARK-Inc. offers the opportunity to visit a number of post-apocalyptic locations, such as the ‘Zone of Alienation’, surrounding the former city of Chernobyl in Ukraine, evacuated after the 1986 nuclear disaster.

These visits help to make potential future realities more tangible and aim to equip participants psychologically, intellectually and practically for life after a major disaster or collapse.
